@chikipoune When I was going through my transition from a believer to a skeptic, I was doing lots and lots of research. I needed a way to organize the things I was finding and deal with the anger I had with the church for lying to me. So I started writing and produced an 25 page essay. It was very theraputic, helped me deal with the anger, and the scripts for these videos come from that essay. If anyone wanted to read it, I will send it to you.

@snuffokk What is the best way to find the truth?

The Heavens Gate cult bought a telescope to view the UFO that they KNEW was in the tail of the Hale-Bopp comet. When they looked, they saw nothing. Their response? They returned the 'scope claiming it was defective. Later they killed themselves in order to send their spirits to this UFO.

They rejected the evidence in favor of their established beliefs they already KNEW were true, and it cost them their lives. Facts help us find the truth.

Your argument is based on the philosophies of men. Your Way OF Thinking originated from the fall of Adam and Eve. Satan’s power is mingling scriptures with the philosophies of men. You are correct if we only have faith in what men can explain. However, I know all things are possible through Gods power. We are like little children and we, as men and woman, will never understand the mysteries of god while we remain in our fallen state.

@snuffokk My argument is based on the physical evidence. It seems to me that if a proposition is true, it will be supported by the evidence. If ALL of the evidence contradicts that proposition, as it does for Noah's flood, then it is most likely false.

It would be a cruel God who provided a path to him that required a belief that was contrary to the physcial evidence. If you ignore evidence and logic, then you can end up believing in anything.

@FuckYouLetMeLogIn faith doesn't have anything to do with intelligence. People who believe just need to in order to nourish their lives with a spiritual meaning. Somehow when you study and learn science.. you refuse to stop believing until the day you decide to open your mind and find a way to live without leaning on dogmas... it happened for me to stop believing and now I feel so relieved and freed and I admit sometimes I ask myself why I believed all my life... the reason ? to have a meaning.

@snuffokk dude... even the religion you believe in was based on men philosophies... who wrote the bible, GOD ??? please don't answer yes... same thing with the book of mormon, D&C and all the leaders of the church nowadays... how do you know the men you're listening too are really talking in the name of God ? don't tell me it's the holy ghost that testified it in your heart... because you should know, not even the most touching feeling in your heart is enough to prove something to be true.

@snuffokk science is not philosophy... science is used to condemn criminals for their crimes, it's the one thing we can actually know it's true... sadly for God and spiritual things, you can't get any truth because the answer received could be different for every faith and religion on this planet. science is the same no matter what religion.

All religions make ridiculous claims and then call them facts, and then insist that you must believe such tripe.

Mainstream Christianity insists that you believe that a magic jew who lived around 2000 years ago could walk on water, fly, make food appear out of thin air, raise the dead, and turn water into wine. Oh, and that he's "still alive."

How much of a sucker do you have to be to swallow that kind of tripe?
