October in Maryland Muzzel Load season, It looked like a doe turned out to be a Button Buck...I would have let it pass, still nice shot and was tasty. Anything you harvest is a trophy cause the hunt is the real prize.

@lobo9er You know it my friend...it made great table fare. I know of many hunters who go the whole year without taking one, looking for that "trophy". I hunt for the table and to share with others. Dont get me wrong I would love to get a bruiser every year, but thats not my goal. I enjoy the outdoors and firgureing out the game, being in a place they dont expect me to be in.
