2007 BBC Proms @ Middlesbrough inc. Rule Britannia

Thousands of people waved their flags and sang Rule Britannia in Middlesbrough Centre Square as they joined in the thrilling climax to the national Last Night of the Proms celebrations.

Earlier, world-class North East orchestra, Northern Sinfonia had taken centre stage for the evening's entertainment, following an impressive line-up of local talent as part of the pre-event entertainment, when Journey South, The Wildcats of Kilkenny and the Tees Valley Youth Choir entertained the crowds.
