I find that the answer I gave you before is wrong. Someone who knew him pretty well has told me that Nelson Eddy DID play piano. He was actually good enough to accompany himself. Sorry about the wrong answer.

@BingandNelsonFan ; I think that Nelson like many singers, could pick out individual notes and chords well enough to make it look real in movies but not enough to claim he could actually play the piano. Nelson`s maternal great-grandmother Belinda Ackerman and his grandmother Caroline Kendrick were music teachers. His mother Isabel played the piano. Jeanette did play the piano very well. Lorraine

this is a beautiful clip and shows that nelson can sing in all tempos and his voice is very rich here just a great clip and right no wonder jeanette is looking at him so tenderly when he goes full voice but i bet she wished she could go along with him too- not my fave of their movies but the voices are always magic thank you

Does Nelson Eddy ever get better than this? His singing is the BEST ever! :o) No wonder Mac is looking at him like that! Definitely one of my favorites. Thanks so much for the upload!
