NOT YOUR AVERAGE SUPERHEROS (N.Y.A.S.) is the merger of many worlds: Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Blues & Classical. N.Y.A.S. is comprised of San Francisco natives Matt (Keys & Vocals), Emmackulate (Emcee), Conscious (Emcee), Voke (Beatbox), Steph (Flute), Nick (Drums/Guitar), & George (Bass). By combining musicality with hip hops powerful energy, we have created a sound built upon the fusion of live instruments & lyrical insight. After only one year together, we have released our first EP, To Be Continued , & full length album, Limited Edition, with the intent to bring Hip Hop back to its roots, while using our passion for many genres of music to invent our own unique style.
