Baby Blanket with Catherine Wheel Stich/Pin Wheels

This is a baby blanket I made with the Pin Wheel stich. I used Mikeys Mail tutorial, when I made my first blanket, and the pattern is so fab that I used it to make another one.
And this is the result. :)

I love the border of single crochets, but I was wondering how you did the corners for that? Did you put 2 sc's with a couple chains in btwn or did you put a fixed number of sc's to form a solid corner?

To be honest I eyeballed the corners. When I did the corners I did 2sc in each stich for like 3 stitchsand the same the first row, second row I didn't do any, ad the 3rd row I the the same. I'm not used to work corners, so likeI said I just eyeballed it and it turned out just fine :D
