My original tribute song for Neda Soltan, who died protesting the injustices of the Iranian government.

Song for Neda

Neda, play a song
A song we'll never hear
The soldiers of injustice
Have spread their ugly fear

Neda, as you died
You could not have known
That liberty should blossom
In the life that you have sown

Neda, the sun will rise
Over the streets of Tehran
Would those thieves now hear your voice
Now that you are gone?

Neda, please dont be afraid
Enter joyful to your rest
Freedom is never free
Lest we should forget

Neda, sing a song
A song we all can hear
As the world grows darker
Your cry of freedom is ringing clear

  • @wvufanngarner Yes, I have seen "it", a lot of times. I watched many "Neda" videos at the time and came to the conclusion that it was street theater. It is pretty obvious, if you think carefully about it. But it was "big deal". The "Neda" affair served a political purpose, that´s why it was hyped. She may have been murdered afterwards.

  • @kolkrabe19 you haven't seen it have you? keep looking and watch the real-time video. you can only draw your own conclusion. thats only my opinion. It is no big deal anyway. any culture that can do "honor killings" and condone them, 1 death doesn't matter to them.

  • @wvufanngarner Thanks for the reply. Don´t you find it odd that she was able to look straight into the camera, moments before passing away in a pool of blood ?

  • @kolkrabe19 No I wasn't I would be arrested just for going to Iran but the footage of her killing was all over the news after it happened, and her family stated that the Iranian state confiscated her body from the hospital before she could be examined. there are many videos of her killing on YT. A haunting image of her eyes looking straight into the camera before she passes away in a pool of blood.

  • @wvufanngarner How do you know that ? Were you there when it happened ?

  • @kolkrabe19 she died almost instantly, was horrible, she bled out right there on the street.

  • @wvufanngarner Her body disappeared ? Is she dead ?

  • perhaps you know, but wasn't she just a by-stander, a couple blocks away? God bless her soul, it was terrible no matter what. And didn't her body dissapear? I;m surprised you haven't shut down the responses all together on this.

    Free Iran !!!

    god bless all those kids.

  • she died for that last post, shameful they use it, beautiful woman, such promise ahead
