@emergencyCALL911 They were not speaking real elvish.

What do you mean by "it"?
If "it" means Sindarin, Sindarin and Welsh sound a lot more alike than Sindarin and any sort of Gaelic. Welsh was the Celtic language that Tolkien loved. Unless you can offer me some solid evidence that Sindarin was based on ancient Irish, I'm going to say you're wrong; Tolkien modeled Sindarin after Welsh much more than any Gaelic language.
Nothing against Gaelic languages. I love all the Celtic languages. Gaelic just isn't the best substitute for Sindarin.

No, it's not gibberish; it is a new constructed language based on ancient Irish.
-
Not a mistake.
It was based on ancient Irish and there was no need to base it on a Brythonic language
even though elements of other languages (including other Celtic languages) were used too.

oh my god your moms laughing is priceless! i really cant stop laughing at it! now i dont mean that in a rude way its just...well you get what im trying to say.

@CazNorfelover i knw how it feels.. :/

I heard it was some form of Gaelic, which explains their mistake. They should have used an older form of Welsh or another Britonic language. Sindarin was inspired by Welsh not Irish. They used the wrong branch of Celtic languages.
They couldn't use real Sindarin because of copyright issues.
Your mom smokes.
