This is a splendid performance; I love this voice.

SO MUCH ADMIRATION for what he does at 2:16! Great choice! What a holistic musician
-
I admire many things in Vickers, especially getting to the bottom of the character, made aflesh and blood Canio . Besides vocal production is Italian one hundred percent

Que gran voz, gracias por la grabación, añoranza de una Argentina que recibía este tipo de artistas, donde el publico contenía la emoción hasta el preciso momento , para ovacionarlos...
Creo que nunca mas volveremos a ser lo que fuimos... (:´-(

Buy the complete opera on CD.Its one of the most dramatic versions of the opera ever!

Tenor heróico... Enorme voz.

Vickers was an overwhelming Canio, with an enormous, utterly distinctive voice (has any tenor ever sounded remotely like him, much less had his sheer power?) and absolute commitment to the role, Who were the other singers and conductor?
My goodness! What a sound!!

Possibly the best Vesti la giubba I've heard! It's absolutely amazing how he conveys the emotion and loneliness solely through the means of what's written, with no sobs or chokes.
