I love this traditional style poplar Warren May dulcimer from Berea, KY. I'm playing DOWN IN THE VALLEY in DAA with chording and no pick.

  • you are awesome man! Love your playing and your videos, you make it look so effortless!

  • great instrument, great performance....thankyou! (I have a Warren May cherrywood). Here's a challenge for ya -- work out a dulcimer version of Dougie Mclean's 'Caledonia'...

  • i like the poplar sound of the Warren May dulcimer great sound

  • @jerryfinsternumber9 I totally agree

  • If more people sang in bluegrass music, the popularity would rise substantially. Unfortunately, the mindless sheep of America are only interested in the singing portion of music, and have no respect for the instrumental talent required. I ask people what the most important instrument of a band is and they always reply "the singer." (It's really the bass player). Pop culture is so ignorant of music and musical theory

  • the simplicity is exquisitely sweet.

  • you got his strum too! enjoyed that!

  • Warren makes great dulcimers; I have an Hourdrop with Dark Walnut top and a Hourglass with a Rosewood top that is a real beauty

  • I just bought one

  • I love this! His dulcimers have such a pure, old time sound :) Like grandma's voice or something, very nice, Stephen.
