2010 Naugatuck Criterium Cat 3-4s - SprinterDellaCasa Helmet Cam

Donovan-Ruhlman Memorial Criterium, held in Naugatuck, CT, in memory of a Masters racer (Donovan) and a Junior (Paul Ruhlman). I got to race with Paul a few times, and he gave me good advice on racing.

Promoted by their team back when they were racing in the 80s, Laurel Bicycle Club, run by the original folks running the club at the time.

Helmet cam is a ContourHD1080, set per YouTube user slowroadie's recommendations.

Music is all from bands my brothers have been part of or solo projects/experiments.

I ride a Tsunami Bikes BB30 custom frame with 10s Record, Cannondale SI SRM crank (170s here), Cane Creek Speed Bars, Thomson post, Ritchey stem (17 deg 120mm 26.0 clamp), Mavic crit bend bars (aluminum), HED Stinger 6 carbon tubulars with Vittoria EVO CX tires.

what type of cycle computer are you using?

@fraserweere it's the SRM computer ("PowerControl V") for the wired SRM cranks. I have hook/loop fasteners on the back of the computer and on top of the Cane Creek bars. There's a hook/loop strap around the whole thing too, although it loosened up during the race. I didn't notice if it the band was on/off at any time, but it was off for a while.

@fraserweere I bought the SRM as part of a bike in 2007. Custom Tsunami frame is $750 (same price as of Aug 2010 with custom paint + geometry). To replace my bike would cost maybe $8K, but I spent less on it.

that race looked hard, ,, the constant attacks and the little hill,,,,,you should of just kept busting your ass on the last leg you could of finished in the top 15 ,,,,if you place high enough you can upgrade a category maybe from a 3 you will be a 2 next year or following year,,,,,
