CSX Q090-23 "The Produce Express on the curve...5-24-09

Hot Q090 is booking through Angola on track 2 of CSX's Lakeshore Subdivision with a brand new UP GEVO leading. The sun set about 15 minutes before Q090 was filmed...so it was rapidly getting dark. I have never heard such a loud train. As it passed I actually believed it would derail!

It is a CSX train, since it runs on a CSX line, it gets a CSX symbol.

When a train is high-priority, it means that it needs to get to its destination quicker than other trains on the system. An intermodal train has a higher priority than coal because it can move faster and contains mail. Q090 has perishable food items, so it needs to get to it's destination as quick as possible.

The Produce Express is UP's train of refrigerated or cooled goods, fruits vegetables, etc. It's the highest priority train on UP from Oregon to Chicago, and becomes Q090 in Chicago. From there it will go to New York. The only trains prioritized over Q090 are Q110, Q109, and Q108 as far as I know.
