@fishingkayakphil , I have only taken the Hobie twice and I'm still trying to get use to it. It will take me several outings before I can get use to it going thru the surf zone. Once I'm out of the surf zone Hobie mirage has it's advantages over the paddle type kayak, One being hands free. Very good cross training for runners. If you like paddling stick to it cause I will not give up my paddling kayak.
