Paula Dean had a cooking episode on a Turkduken but she had a butcher cut open the turkey, Chicken and Duck for her...
Not as hard core as I saw here. X)
I see it but I still don't believe it.... How do you manage to keep the Turkey's skin in-tact, especially with all that Chicken and Duck stuffed in there?

wasn't invented in the US Southern states in the 80s, this dish in fact dates back to medieval england.

According to National Geographic, the origin was traced back to Maurice, Louisiana. The other dish you're referring to, Rôti Sans Pareil (Roast without equal), is attributed to a French feast in the 19th century and is a bit more complicated than a turducken.
