Im on methadone but not for heroin I was having withdraws from Oxycodone that the doc gave me but methadone got me right off the oxys and im down to 10mg I get my carries and see my doc once a week

you still gotta kick the heroin - suboxone is the go -- methadone tolerance is a cunt and you can end up worse off than on the smack

Where I live, we don't have to go everyday to get the dose.
I, for example, get 6 day worth of methadone in advance and I take it at home.
It would suck though if I had to go every single day to the clinic... :/

I know for a fact methadone saves lives for those who are trying to get off of opiates. If one really wants to get off the drugs the methadone will allow one to lead a normal life without the cravings. As the dose is decreased the day will come when the cravings are over - when the dependency is gone it's a new life.

I had like 5 nasty comments aimed at u...lol...i erased them (and i thought i erased the one you replied to as well) when i saw ur page and realized you were joking abt tht smoking meth comment and you do dose....
why u hurtin? you should b stable, how much is ur dose? right now mine is 150mg & as long as i go everyday (i've never missed a day) im fine..even in the AM...i nvr injected but i had a 800mg/day oxy+400mg/day morphine habit..ntm the zannys..maybe u shd adjust ur dose

oh, and i doubt u dose. if u do u shd be ashamed of urself.....that comment got me soo pissed cuz there is so much misinformation out there the last thing addicts need is more bullshit....my fellow guys and gals tht are patients at my clinic and others everywhr arexx`xx`xx` my heroes...they took a difficult and HUGE step to get help...
