Lightsaber effect tutorial ( Vegas Pro 9.0 )

I know that there are a few tutorials already about making the lightsaber effect with either Vegas Pro or After Effects in YouTube but several viewers have asked me to make tutorials related to the special effects in the videos that I have already made without telling me any specific one so guess what? I decided to start with this one because I think that Star Wars lightsabers are cool ;)
This is my first tutorial and probably is not as clear as others made for other more experienced YouTubers so I am keen to clarify, any deficiency with the presentation, in the comments below so do not hesitate to ask me a question and any feedback is very much appreciated too :)
