This game worth playing if you're an SC fan? I know it's no where near as good but is it still fun?

@Zellig It depends. It's tedious at points and the melee is frustrating, the end sucks, and the colony system is poorly implemented... some of the alien species are kind of fun though. I probably wouldn't spend money on it, if you know what i mean. But if you do decide to try it, I'd recommend keeping a walkthrough nearby to cut down on some of the deadtime.
