hey, im turning 17 in a couple of months, was wondering how much i could pick one of these up for on average and wether or not something else would suit me better height wise. Im around 5ft 6, maybe 5ft 7, not too tall, and ive got small legs. Ive been told this is a relatively small bike though. Also, i have around 3000 to spend. Is this the bike for me? thanks in advance, appreciate it if you could get back to me :)

@RoryEastwayMMA height shouldnt be too big a problem, it is a big bike for a 125 height wise but just may mean that foot paddling may be affected, I would say you could pick one up for less than 3000 used easily, hope this helps

the only reason a person wouldnt like a 2 stroke is if they had an unreliable one they didnt take care of, or they dont like the noise.

if you want a sporty 125, get a 2 stroke, they are quick. anyone care to argue?

@EvilMonkey1966 i agree with you mate 2 stroke is way faster not doubts there but i prefer the YZF to any 125 out there appart from the Suzuki Van van it makes me laugh when i see it love it to bits! the yzf also gives you more miles per gallon too mine gives me about 80-85 around less when i rag it a bit

@EvilMonkey1966 i know man but for this money i passed my test got a vfr800 and insured it with change to spare! i mean £4000 for a 125.

I have this bike in black virtually brand new, I would have to say I prefer this to a 2 stroke aprilia rs125 for example just because of the riding experience, the aprilia may be faster because its a 2 stroke but for me riding the yzf just feels like riding a proper bike, but thats just my opinion :)
