1993 Camaro Z28 vs 2010 Camaro RS

Racing a mid michigan motor plex, great race vs. my 93 camaro and a 2010 304hp v-6 camaro, I caught him at the last 100 ft!!! great race, sorry about the poor quality

rs's are for the most part posi trac and have a sport rear end which can endure mor than just a stock v6 camaro and in some 90 models the rs is a 4.3L v6 insted of the usual 3.8L

the early 90's had 3.1's the middle had 3.4's and the later models had 3800s. 4.3's was a truck motor in the 90's

great race for a stock lt1 with im sure tons of miles on it vs a brand new camaro. that tells you how good the lt1 motors are and how great the new v6 tech is now a days.

@1badbowtie im a classic muscle car enthusiast, i've owned v8 power-houses from 1963-2010. the 93 Camaro z28 is by far one of the best overall designed american rumblers to ever roll out of detroit. and im not just making this up for fun. cherish that Z of yours man.

you could throw 600$ into that thing and shave 2.5 seconds off of your quarter-mile, easily. (fullsys exaust, ram intake, perhaps a flywheel diameter adjustment). its a beautiful tuner car no doubt.

@1badbowtie actually 93-95 were 3.4s and 96-02 were 3.8s. 3rd gens had 3.1s but still good race tho. i miss my 93 even tho it was a 3.4 with a 5 speed

lol just ran a 14.3 in my stock 2011 camaro LS ...14.7 is kinda high ... and these new 3.6's do respond to modds very well just LT'S and x pipe is soppose to give ya 25-30 to the wheels .....had 3 LT1's ....love them damn cars till it shifted into 3rd an i would get pulled by every mustang up top lol
