On the day of the historic vote in the Senate which threw out the "don't ask, don't tell" law, I went on CNN to discuss the repeal of the policy with Don Lemon.

  • @vickiedavis hahaha, i dont think transgender are welcomed, and i dont think they will pass the training! lol, spend too much time on custom

  • @kf1000 It all takes time..the fight continues but have patience

  • I don't think it will help the transgender soldiers.

  • While this is a big step toward removing discrimination, there still will be a lot of discrimination in withholding benefits from the families  of gays.

    For example, military employee's spouse get certain benefits, yet the spouse of a gay military employee will continue to be discriminated against. just as civilian spouses of gay people are discriminated against with all sorts of spousal benefits like social security benefits.
