Illegal immigration is a root cause of many of our fiscal problems today. It's also against the law and at variance with our national sovereignty. Supporters of open borders miss an important point in their humanitarian justifications for permitting anyone to come here and settle down: isn't it more helpful in the long run to "teach a person to fish" in their own country than it is to provide that person with ticket to the U.S.? Supporters of open borders might think about relocating to help.

@OldaurGold Exactly. There are anywhere between 12-20 million illegal immigrants depending on which statistic you happen to be reading that day. How many unemployed citizens do we have in our country right now? People say that Illegals take the jobs that one one wants, but I am sure there are PLENTY of AMERICANS that will work just about any job you throw at them right now.
