What company made the boiler?
-
the yellow flame is because you are using butane you may be able to minimise the yellow but the flame will amways have a yellow tip

Magnificent! The engine will run in well, the glands will leak less with their bedding in, as you know. The details will all sort in time. It is a strikingly beautiful engine. This is such a magnificent plant, James. You've done great work here. Elegant indeed! Yes, yellow means more air is wanted. Is the boiler a fire tube type? It looks by the burner to be a pot boiler? You and your dad have made my day too! I'm so happy to see this first running so soon after the video's posting. Thanks!

What an excellent piece of film! Heat, water and mechanics in harmony.

I'm glad that you like it! Do have a look at the later videos, which show my progression on the model.
