Is Ron Paul Electable?

When it's all said and done, the response provided below by Ron Paul to Carl Cameron's question of whether he is electable will likely end up as his most memorable response during the 2008 election cycle. His response to the question was so good and so damning that Fox News cut it from the re-broadcast immediately following the actual debate (January 10, 2008). I remember this debate, one of the best, he articulated things very well, do you think he'll run for 2012?

I do think he'll run. Will he win? That is something I am not so sure about. But I do think he will wake up A LOT more people. When it's all said and done, I think people will remember RP as the 21st century Goldwater, and his son Rand will probably be either the 45th or 46th President of the United States ('12, '16, or '20). Just an educated guess based on Reagan following Goldwater.

I have more respect for a man who defends his positions, popular or not, than a man who sells his positions to the highest bidder.

If Ron Paul had been elected in 2008. We would of been well on our way, as a nation, to REAL RECOVERY and PROSPERITY.

It's a shame how the media influences our elections to a point where we don't really elect anyone on whether they will protect and defend the US consitution, but rather on how many promises a politcian can make and break.

That's amazing as an RP Republican since March 2007 Bill Mahr (which is also lost in cyberspace if anyone finds it please send me a link) I saw this live and then saw it repeatedly on YOUTUBE.

I never knew it was erased from Fox.
