But instead it ended in a tragedy, and many blame Ilene Chaiken for writing the story that way, she did not make the story of The L Word fair, ending without a resolution.

It was a mistake to picture them together as a couple, but it was the best resolution that the relationship between Shane and Jenny had to end once and for all after Shane found and read the letter from Molly that Jenny hid away in the attic. It was not a good and fair ending at all, The L Word is not enough. Shane reconciling with Molly, and if Jenny was still alive, Nikki could have won

The whole world should know and realize that the biggest mistake that Jenny ever did in her life was humiliating and dumping Nikki and being madly in love with Shane who was her best friend and roommate for four or five years, and liking Shane and Jenny as a couple should never be justified.
