I agree about Stefano and John being the best things about the show. Tony is good too. I'd love to see a DVD compilation of all of the Stefano stories.

This all so brilliantly mad. Fifteen years on, and Stefano is still tying poor John to tables and torturing him. It's the most adorably warped relationship in history. :D

@eocarcharia I agree with you there... Stefano is supposed to be all-knowing, and he was clearly shocked when he learned that John was his brother. There was every indication that John was Shawn Sr.'s son, which would explain Stefano's hatred of John (and for the Bradys, partially). Plus, Tony and John being the "DiMera" and "Brady" brothers under Daphne is just a lot more interesting.

@Pallindrom27 Yes! I wonder if DVDs would ever be released... John, Tony and Stefano made the perfect triad... they were all on different parts of the spectrum and their goals always conflicted.

John's not Stefano's brother anyway. The whole idea is daft. It would make him years older than Tony, for starters. :D Colleen was clearly lying, and presumably Stefano is playing along for now for his own reasons.

Not that this reasoning negates the writers being idiots, though, obviously.

well, with that colleen/santo storyline, they've gone and messed that up too. now john is the 8th son (unless there are more lurking out there...), making stefano the (very anticlimactic) 7th son of 8 sons. idiots.

Right now I'd settle for them just showing Stefano... :( He and John are the best things about the show, imho, and I miss both of them.

But yes, I've often wondered about those other DiMera brothers.

I love Stefano. I wish they would've shown some of his brothers on occasion though. Anybody else remember that Stefano is the Seventh Son of the Seventh Son, and that a Dimera family legend says that that Seventh Son shall never die?
