@OnePresidentOfPeace Yes he was, but the term "marijuana" wasn't adopted until much later when outlawing hemp was in favor by the leading fiber producers. Hemp was the superior fiber so the companies did not want the competition. Marijuana and hemp are essentially the same thing but hemp is cultivated for its fibers. There are many ways to grow hemp which will result in different grades of fiber. Hemp has thousands of uses some of which are paper, fuel, clothing, biodegradable plastic and more.

I can agree with the use of HEMP for industrial purposes. It's nature state in those areas are great. But as marijuana. Too many clinical and obvious studies shown that it's consumption (inhaling) has a bad effect on your brain. We have enough stupid people here in the USA. We don't need a so-called medicinal medicine that helps you compete with "dumb and dumber"
