Gregory Peck and Deborah Kerr were terrific performers.

  • @2legit64 ~ It's not so much that he was miscast, but it is the fact that it is one of his very rare bad performances. I love Greg, but he's impossibly wooden in this movie, which makes the fabulous Miss Kerr look like she's overacting.

  • I don't know why people thought that Gregory Peck was miscast in this film. Anyone who has ever seen him in "Duel in the Sun"as the sadistic a-hole Lewt McCanles should have known that he could play this role. I thought that both he and Deborah Kerr did a lovely job in this film although it isn't near the top of my favorite list of the 41 Deborah Kerr films I've recently seen. She did sparkle in this film, but not as much as I feel she did in several others. Thanks for uploading this.

  • @ForeverOldiesO1

    I know right!!!

  • This is absolutely amazing! They were wonderful!! Now I just need to find the whole movie so i can watch the whole thing! Thanks for uploading!

  • Gregory Peck was laughed at by the American public. My parents called him "Gregory Peccary." It seems very mean, but they absolutely could not relate to this wooden puppoet.

  • Oh, this was heartbreaking. Dang, I want to see this so bad now. Thanks for having this little scene up.

  • Being a HUGE Deborah Kerr fan...I have seen this movie and absolutely LOVED IT!!! It was an amazing movie a definite must see. Thank you for posting this scene.
