The Deaf finally have a use for voicemail!

telstra?

I disagree, if the dimness is all the way down and you hold your phone fairly low no one will notice that your checking your phone. My colleagues and I do it quiet frequently, I have never been bothered by it. However, if you receive a message then stand up and proclaim "Great Scott!" and shuffle about the theater in a frantic rush to return to 1955... well that's a different story.

@BrandonCerelius not true, you can easily decrease the brightness of the screen, and it's not nearly annoying as talking or even whispering.
-
@BrandonCerelius Or you could just turn your brightness level all the way down.

You'll get kicked out of the movies if your screwing around with your phone. That bright light is just as distracting as someone talking loudly during the film.

@FTWproduction1 If that person's phone is more important than the movie, maybe they should step outside and check their e-mails, texts their friends, etc. I'm not sure you'd be thrilled to have the person in front of you talking on the phone either, even if it is about "real life".
