This is the Appalachian State University band performing the Tennessee Waltz. A post-game tradition that I hope lasts forever.

Sorry it's a picture of Boone taken from the Knob rather than video. But this recording didn't come from a performance. It was recorded in 1998, my sophomore year, in Farthing Auditorium during class. I found the CD while rummaging through all my old crap in my mom's basement. Lucky me!

  • @m00nbuggy1 The story of the song is, this guy was taking his girl to a ball when his best friend stole her away, and all he had was his trumpet and this song. Play it like your heart is being ripped out, and this is all you have left.
