@childsweethearts and I do keep mine in the same cage but they fight sometimes. Experts always advise to separate them in different cages at first so...that would be wise :P As long as they get to meet each other and interact outside of the cage things will work out fine.

@childsweethearts I have two cockatiels and the male still acts the same towards. He always comes to me when I take them out and wants me to pet him like before. Every situation is different obviously, but if you have a bond with your bird he wont just forget about you :P

how can u tame them I got one 2 weeks ago and hisses at me all the time. Its about 3 months old any suggestions?

Oh,so sweet and so pretty. I'm thinking of getting a 2nd cokatiel. But they say when you have two, they don't give you as much affection because they have each other. Do you find this to be true? Do you keep them in the same cage?

@childsweethearts Yes they're in the same cage....i bought them about 5 months apart so I had time to bond with the first one for a bit. i'd say now that they aren't totally bonded but they're friends. They don't preen each other ..but they yell for each other when they can't see each other..they are kind of bonding..it's been about 3 years since I bought the second guy. but they both still love spending time with me. i think it is best to get your bird a friend.

That is soo cute!! It's like they are both wanting to get your attention. They are like "Hey mom!! Listen to me!" I love it!
