Lugia's song.avi

This is Lugia's theme from the movie Pokemon 2000. I haven't seen this movie, but the song was recommended to me by a friend. I like it! Played on my Generation "flageolet"(it's the same thing as a tin whistle) in B flat, it kind of reminds me of that "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" song at some parts. You know the one. This is the first song I added an echo to. I hope you don't think that's cheating.

Hi I'm trying to learn this song now after learning the easier ones: Kagome's theme and lord of the rings. But I can't get that roll sound or whatever you call it when you roll your figure across the holes. I use a Clarke with the wooden piece instead of the plastic mouthpiece. I was wondering if this may be why I cant get the sound I am looking for? Any advice would be appreciated.

@MegaMelvin1979 Hmm, you should be able to roll from note to note on any whistle (hopefully. otherwise, get a plastic mouthpiece. I never use the standard Clarkes, haha). When I do a roll, I push my finger out away from my hand (extending all the way) which causes the tip to naturally lift away from the hole slightly. Then I lift my finger up the rest of the way. Done quickly, as in a song, it's pretty convincing. Also, that's assuming you play with your fingers relaxed instead of straight out.
