My one year old granddaughter has been diagnosed with metopic synostosis. She is scheduled foir surgery, at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, in a week.

I have a friend with craniosynostosis and he has siblings with it too. and he has mild mental retardation, and i have mild mental retardation. I am glad i met him. He is a awesome person.

My daughter had surgery for craniosynostosis 6 1/2 years ago at 3 months old, and will be 7 in September. She is amazing, and seeing Riley brings back a ton of sadness, but I know everything will turn out perfect. Please post an update.
