This is an Idiot's Guide to installing CM7 Android on the HP Touchpad.
Here are the files that you need to download:

ok when i get 2 boot cyanogenmod and hit the home key it just keeps restarting back to hp then the boot cyanogenmod pops back up... Help

@Drago285491 go device settings it will day dissaable lock screen with a check. Un check it

cm7 ics isnt allowing me to have a lock screen. it keeps bypassing the lock screen. anyone know how to fix?

Ive downloaded all that i needed and installed all the 4 zips into cminstall on the tp. But after all the commands on cmd it doesnt go into double penguin mode :(((

I have done everything right but when i do it and i go to moboot on my touchpad i see Boot webos clockworkmod but not Cyanogenmod

no need to answer my message i just found out... the file that i put on my touchpad were under ''cm install' shuld havve put 'cminstall' :) that simple haha

QUICK I NEED HELP! I have it installed cyanogenmod 3.5 alright.... but now I have accidently just went turn off the touchpad while in cyanogenmod mode but accidentaly pressed the volume up button and now it says it is in USB mode and I cannot do anything any suggestions?

when i finished typing everything into cmd and hit enter my touchpad restarted like you said. but is stuck on the hp logo screen, please help i dont know what to do..

@finallyyouknowmyname Not enough power going to the usb port. Try a different cable or usb port, and unplug other stuff from your computer.
