yeah right... octaves would probably be possible, but the rest is tricky... Well, if you write a piece for saxophone and percussion some day, let me know ;-)
best wishes
I just wanted you to know I saw this video awhile back and wished so bad to play it, but I understand wanting to keep something your own. Great job though!! I really mean it

This is really amazing! :-)
I instantly had the idea of playing the cello part with a baritone saxophone, how do you think about that?

I'm not sure, because there are some parts on the cello that aren't possible on the bari sax (harmonics, octaves). Also, some of the notes (mainly the end) are too long for a bari sax to sustain, unless they have the ability to circular breathe.
That being said... it's possible that it could work.... but those would be tricky things to work around.

wow, a beautiful piece you created there :) wakarimasen means 'I don't understand' in Japanese, right? It's impressive how you create such great atmosphere with these decent harmonics. I especially liked the imitations in the pizzicato part. Nice Cello, too.. beautiful intonation. By the way, is that a marimba one you're playing? Can't decide upon the cam distance, but it sounds like one in the bass. greets

Thanks (again) for the nice words. You're correct on the translation! Yes, it's a MarimbaOne. I think the only one that looks very similar is Lyoma, but we don't even have those in the states (to my knowledge).
