I bought this off ebay the post and packaging cost more than the actual game, and it's in immaculate condition, just as well cos I mainly wanted for the box

@Extratexture4: OMG, my daughter & I just played "graph paper" battleship a month ago! LOL
-
I have this game sitting right in my closet. :) Kept it all these years for the box alone. :D Vincent Price rules!

I love the commercial however I wish people like retro junk would not ruin it by putting their logo on screen this is not just annoying but taking credit for others work and it would be nice for future generations to know there was a time where there was no crap logos words etc on screen..we could just enjoy the show or ad in this case.

"I can't play with these interruptions!" LOL
-
Vinnie big legend!

@Extratexture4 You are correct. I'd fiorgotten about the graph paper Battleship myself (senior moment, anyone?).
-
@elc1960, I think that's why this game didn't last. They probably though they could replicate the success of Battleship, which was played on graph paper before it became a board game.

The first ads played on a western "Hangman" theme, with horror star Price as the obvious choice for sponsor. Then, with this ad, they began to favor the "western" theme, but still with Price as a the sponsor. It was kind of nice to see him doing something non-horror.

You know, all you really need to play this game is two sheets of paper and two pens. No need to go out and buy the game. Of course, now they have this as a video game. What, are we so hooked on technology that we're too jaded to get paper and pens or pencils? When did we get so friggin' lazy?
LOL. Love Vincent Price, no matter what he does.

Ahhhh. I miss the days when commercials were short and sweet. And clever.
