@TheDarkSatirist 0:18 is either Napoleon Dynamite or the Squid and the Whale, depending on which clip you mean. And isn't that van from Juno? I haven't seen it since it was in theaters, but there was definitely a shitty van in it.

Hahaa, funny and clever.
I do like American indie films, but I definitely agree that its already developed its own conventions and character archetypes that are repeated film after film after film.
