Cd-rom was broken so the best thing I could do with it was disassembling it for interesting parts)
I think that lens from dvd-rom would be much better at magnifying.. So will search for another broken unit.. :B

I made my microscope using the lens from cd-rom. Its more powerful than your lighter lens :B

I believe you already, because the lens is madefrom lighter plastic and the lens from the CD-ROM is also a glass lens and it is a lot better. But a lighter it is much cheaper. ;)

where do you get a lighter with a lens?

@Noetto1 does not get directly to a lens, it is a "mini projector" So with a slide behind the lens.
It is available easily in Europe. As it is in America I do not know. :/
