Why is this guy still a priest? Better yet, where the heck is the bishop? No offense, but I'm seeing a lot of crap coming out of California churches...issue for the Cardinal?

Like the Bishop is going to do anything. Tjis is from the Diocese of Orange County. The Bishop here isn't too much better than this priest from what I've heard. For all we know, the bishop may have given him permission to do this.

Even if we set aside the rubrics for a moment, it is but common sense that the Mass should be celebrated with dignity and honour for the Lord. Such a thing as this, which robs the Mass of its dignity and honour, is not fit for Him.

Well, what he said may or may not orthodox; however, what he did to the Mass itself is more than enough to have him in big trouble with the Roman Curia.

And if a priest comes in who celebrates Mass like a NORMAL PERSON, the people will get up in arms about how "he hates our children."
