I wasn't aware of the fact that iTunes also sold .aiff. However, I still prefer buying CD's I love, and then ripping it to .flac. And yes, large corporations make a lot of money through artists. This is not how it should be, but as it is, it doesn't look like it'll change soon. However, I still like to pay my respects to bands by buying the record.
uh oh another dodgy old bloke that doesn't realise you can get mp3's different qualities. Also u can transfer and buy aiff.......which is what cd's are recorded in. Keep up fogey!
Ever heard of supporting the artists you love? All right, Radiohead have already made it big, but it's still nice to pay for CD's occasionally. And don't give me that iTunes bullshit, when I pay for an album I want CD sound quality, not some shitty .aac or .mp3 format.
