I can't keep this in any longer, this misconception is too wide spread.

The "new" song is actually not new. It's been around at least since the game has gone Live, probably longer. The two existed side-by-side. This was the "idle" theme, when nobody was manning the ship's wheel. Once you took control of your ship, the other theme began. And yes.

This is a much nicer tune than the other. I miss sailing to the edge of the map, getting off, then just staring out at the open ocean from the deck.
