cont from below comment: Don't get me wrong I ride,I look out for fellow riders as they do as well. There was an incident on a Critical Mass ride here in San Diego where a guy wanted to ride though a group a cyclist,not letting the car in front of him pass first. Traffic was at a stand still. I got in front of his car,banged on the hood,told him to stop. Tough guy got out of his car & wanted to scrap,I stood my ground even though he was bigger. I looked around me & saw that a group had my back.

parasitedan: I agree with you all the way. Also, the event organizers could be held responsible if someone could be injured due to riding under the influence of alcohol. In some states you can get a DUI for riding a bicycle or skateboard while under the influence. I just want my fellow riders to be safe....

The best part is there appears to be a child in the front seat of the car that ran that biker off the road.

probably didn't report him, although i agree that guy was a total asshole and deserved to be in jail for that, they were drinking and riding (illegal in most states) so unless they wanted to incriminate themselves it would be hard to prosecute him.
