366-Aziz Sulaiman, Lecturer at Mosul University. Department of Mosul University's College of Sociology. Killed in Mosul 22 January 2008.
367-Munther Murhej Radhi,Dean of the College of Odontology, Baghdad University. He was found dead in his car 23 January 2008.
368-Khalil Al-Nuaymi,30/1/2008,president of Islamic Jurisprudence in Islamic Science Faculty in Mosul University.

370-Jaled Naser Al-Miyahi,PhD in medicine, Professor of neurosurgery at Basra University. He was assassinated in March 2008 (exact date unknown). His body was found after his being kidnapped by a group of armed men in the streets of Basra. There were no ransom demands.
371-Mundir Marhach,Dean of Faculty of Stomatology, Baghdad University. He was killed in March (exact day unknown).
372-Iyad Hamza,PhD in chemistry, Baghdad University. He was the academic assistant of the President of Al-Nahrein University. On 4 May 2008 he was killed near his home in Baghdad.
373-Mahmoud Talb Latif Al-Jumaily,The body of Sheikh Mahmoud Talb Latif Al-Jumaily (Member of the Commision of Muslim Scientists) was found in the same car as Dr. Taha AbdulRazak Al-Ani, professor in Islamic Studies from Tikrit University on 15/5/2008.
374-Taha AbdulRazak Al-Ani, 15/5/2008.
375-Fares Younes Abdul Rahman, A bomb left inside the private car of Dr. Fares Younes Abdul Rahman, deputy dean of the Agriculture Faculty, went off while he was leaving the faculty in northern Mosul, killing him instantly on 2/6/2008.
376-Walid Saad Allah al-Mouli, Unknown gunmen on Sunday shot down a university professor and wounded two of his sons in northern Mosul city on 15/6/2008.
377-Salih Abed Hassoun,Gunmen killed Dr. Salih Abed Hassoun, dean of college of law of Al Qadisiyah University, as he was driving his car in central Baghdad on 7/7/2008.
378-Kamil Abdullah Shayya; Iraqi academic, high-level official in the Ministry of Culture
379-Khaldoun Sabry; He was handcuffed and had gunshot wounds and bruises all over his body
380-Salam Rasheed; University medical professor was killed by American forces
381-Saleh al-Auqaeili;Lawmaker, 37-year-old former professor who was known for his moderate stance in the al-Sadr movement. killed when a bomb struck his convoy in Baghdad
382-Faiz Saheb Ghali; The dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Faiz Saheb Ghali, was killed in a traffic accident
383-Izz al-Din Khalaf Ayyoub; a psychology professor in Anbar University, was shot down by unknown gunmen
