Summer

my horse summer...
i got her from my parents as a christmas present.
she was 2 years old, crazy, and did not trust anyone.
i have had her for five years, and was not able to ride her for three of the five years.
she was, and at times still is very skitish.
she had been chased through a 300 acre pasture by a pickup truck and eventually roped.
the first time i got on her i got bucked, pretty hard, into a fence.
and before i was even able to put a saddle on her, for lack of a better word, she was crazy, and it seemed very unlikely she would ever trust me, let alone let me ride her.
but after years of very hard work and patience, it is hard to believe that she is the same horse.
because of all the hard times and work and the patience i've had to have, i have an incredible, and unbelievable bond with her,
she means sooo much to me :)
