Canon Vixia HV30 First Test Footage

Just got my Canon Vixia HV30 camcorder yesterday, and couldn't wait to try it out.

I filmed the footage in 24p HDV 1920x1080, in Cine Mode, with Vivid Coloring.

Edited with Premier Pro CS4, and added the smooth black border with color correction in After Effects CS4.

Some Shots were filmed with a 43mm Macro Lens. I got it off of eBay for around $10. Totally worth it. :)

Actually the Sense of Touch song is very very similar but this one happens to be "Flames"

No, I just added a vignette around and that's it.

This is beautiful. This is what I'm looking for. Am I crazy to say this is better than the Panasonic DVX100B?

Also, does anyone know if this can film underwater, or if there's a way to make it waterproof?
