I bought a similar (barely used) model today at goodwill for 19.99 with the extension ring woopeee

I had one of the older models but the plastic started cracking from the heat and over time. Thing is, these things made of plastic scare me with the talk of cancers from plastics breaking down etc. I bought a much heavier one like a punch bowl made of glass but has it's height restrictions and not so easy to clean because of the weight. But at least the glass is thicker on this one.
