@hotpocketpizzapop wow your an idiot, acdc plays the same 4 chords in nearly 80% of their songs. I love acdc but you need to understand that blue rodeo has in my eyes the most talented musicians and song writers canada ever produced. Ive seen them 3 times in concert and will keep seeing them whether it be just jim cuddy or greg kealor they are still amazing. This is actual talent at its best and ya its a slower song but its not a rock concert you moron.

@hotpocketpizzapop your way off bud, Canadians are into good music and this is the pinnacle

@hotpocketpizzapop I agree, you don't sound like a hater but bands don't 'rock it out' every single minute they are on stage. This was a hit and very popular, bands mix things up for very good reasons. Too many to list on here.

@hotpocketpizzapop Listen to the crowd, I don't think they have any complaints

@hotpocketpizzapop listen to all the people singing along! Man if I was at live 8 and Blue Rodeo came out and played Try I'd lose my mind. Just because it's an outdoor concert doesn't mean it has to be 8 hours straight of pounding hard rock.

Love Blue Rodeo. Saw them in 2010 in the fairgrounds at Malone N.Y. Most of the people there didn't know them until this song . All of a sudden everyone put up there lighters like candles and swayed to the music in the stands . They are a GREAT Canadian talent and don't ever forget it . We do produce a lot of talented people in this great country

I LOVE Blue Rodeo......every single song they have ever made has been fantastic!!!
This comment has received too many negative votes show
This is going to come off as a hater comment, but it's really not. I think it's a great song, but wrong venue. If you go out onto the stage and see a crowd of tens of thousands of people, those people want to rock. They don't want to slow dance to your one hit. My advice? If you see a crowd like this, you play ACDC's Thunderstruck, even if you're not ACDC and even if you don't know how to play it. Try is for a small intimate concert hall or bar, not a freakin' huge outdoor concert. Buzz kill.

@hotpocketpizzapop It doesn't sound like you're a hater, but it does sound like you aren't very familiar with the band. They have had a lot more than one hit. I was a concert of theirs last week and they played two solid hours of hits, many of them rocking loud, hard, and long. You can question their song choice, but there is no need to demean them.

Yes indeed.

Actually it was in Barrie.

I try not to confuse people, proceeding on the premise that everybody knows where Toronto is, but only Ontarians know where Barrie is. But you are correct. The concert was at the former Molson Park in Barrie, a short drive north of Toronto.
