What I don't get is why Van Jones says all this crap about Banks being horrible (which is mostly true) yet he and the rest of Obama's administration were the ones who bailed them out two years ago.

Bush was the one who bailed out the banks in late '08 (TARP). Obama only bailed out the car companies in Detroit. And regardless of who it was, the bailout was necessary because ordinary Americans would have lost their money and suffered most. The OccupyWallStreetMovement is aimed at preventing those banks from earning record profits by fucking consumers right after those consumers bailed them out.

Goldman Sachs bet that people wouldn't be able to fulfil the terms of their mortgage, people desperate to achieve independence agreed to mortgages that were in some cases fraudulent (not revealing the true terms) and in other cases based on predictions that required infinite growth of the economy. Our debt based economy collapses and the people that bet on it make stacks and achieve government positions - we have infinite liability, they have champagne.
