I was driving around and saw this glorious summer sunset and decided it would be a perfect background for some trains, especially since there was one coming at the time. I shoot a westbounder then move up the rails to a place I call Pines Junction to get another. As you can see, this is a great place for train watching because not only do they come by often, but you can see them coming for miles.

  • @bwitz72 I agree that bells need to be ringing as well. It's much more safer that way and cars and people are more likely to stop.

  • Bells need to be ringing at all times while the signal is activated. I hate crossings where the bell is silenced as soon as the gates are down.
