Mayor John Fetterman of Braddock, Pennsylvania talks about the downfall of his town and community. This ad features a small store called Bell's Market that has suffered because of the job loss created when the town's main employer, the steel mill, closed its doors and put most of the community out of work.
@canadiceconstruction Why is creating an industry so horribly inefficient that it costs 5 trillion to move new cars 40 miles a day considered good for the economy again?

and that 250 tons of steel will come from a country like china or India that doesn't have a carbon cap to raise the cost of steel production.

Braddock, Pa. has always fallen for the "Big Lie" . There is no magic wand thats going to clean up 2 generations of decay. Beginning with "Urban Renewal" of the 60's and now with the belief in "Carbon Tax" Braddock has spent 40 years looking for wealth redistribution to lead them out of their sad plight. Try looking inward before you try to drag everyone down.. yet again.

Oil consumption can be greatly reduced by implementing solar and wind energy. Electrification of the automobile is a $7.5 trillion industry. Supplying enough solar and wind energy to move these EV's the first 40 miles each day is a $5 trillion industry. What could these 2 industries do for our economy?

Stop the carbon tax lies. All the taxes in the world can't save that town. Don't bring down business that is working to try to save a dead industry. STEEL IS GONE MOVE ON. The Unions ruined the steel industry and now they are going to ruin the rest of industry.

In 20 years they'll be ripping up those 250 ton useless bird Cuisenarts. We might as well make steel buggy whips.
