I still like Roy Hamilton's version of this the best. He was taken from us too soon.
Bobby Hatfield's version is too theatrical for my taste, although I do like it.

If Elvis is the king of Rock I guess Roy is the EMPEROR cause Elvis totally copied him. I know he was Elvis' boyhood idol and all but how come you hear soo much about the copyer and not the original.

@TheMG63 Yes Elvis was recording that early, but his style was still in it's rockabilly infancy. He didn't start singing like Orbison or Vincent until much later. Elvis really did put together a great style, but like most of us singers, he built his style upon many earlier singers.
